The tour begins by giving an overview of the legacy bequeathed by some religious orders who started the process of conquest and evangelization in Chile. As the creed professed by the majority of the population of our country is Catholic, Apostolic and Roman, who has a long tradition that has a standing of more than five centuries. On this tour, will visit some of the largest churches in the capital, where we stress the ecclesiastical history which is firmly rooted in our national culture. A tour of the churches we encounter the story; The Church of San Agustin, San Francisco, Church of La Merced, and finally the Cathedral of Santiago.
