This month, I saw two films of Alejandro Jodorovsky: El Topo and Santa Sangre. I was surprised to see two very different works of the same director. El Topo, comparable to David Lynch’s films - is a succession of dreamlike sequences that run slowly for the Chilean desert. On the other hand, Santa Sangre, is a story that happens in the city, with a well-defined plot. Besides, the latter is more colorful and the characters are more developed. Personally I prefer movies like Santa Sangre to other as El Topo.
